Dark Island Hotel

On our last night of a short stay in Uist, we had dinner at the Dark Island hotel. It is on the expensive side but the food was very good and reasonable portion size. I recommend the fish curry & dark orange choc torte. Staff were attentive & pleasant. A nice relaxing night.

Fiona, in restaurant, and staff are all superb, lovely, kind, welcoming, patient with my California/Maui, Hawaii-food requests of more veg, greens, etc. The food was excellent!!!! The room was scary. I do not do fuzz in fans, mould in sink drain area, YIKES. Other than that, it was a very welcoming, wonderful place to stay.

16 of a family booked sunday 27th may.waited over and hour for food when it arrived it was cold very disappointing not cooked properly roast potatos were hard my sister in law ordered a vodka and lemonade no ice she got and was charged a double vodka with ice which she cold not drink disgusting.qe qere all very unhappy cost a fortube never again we were starving so were all the children.yiu need more efficiant staff.
