The Belmont

Our second stay this year. Just love it. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, everything thought of, lovely hotel bar, fab breakfasts but best of all Linda and Des superb hosts, arrive as strangers and leave as friends. Look forward to seeing you in 2027.

Second year staying at The Belmont, this time on our honeymoon ✨️ we had the most wonderful time at the Belmont, Shanklin, The Chine and touring around the Island, Desmondo and the lovely Linda at their best as wonderful host 😀 the Belmont runs a very low key relaxed atmosphere with Linda cooking the best breakfast in Shanklin Fran & Ian Turner

After staying 11 years ago we re visited in August &where else would we choose to stay but The Belmont . Had a lovely stay , Des &Linda were lovely hosts and the relaxed atmosphere hasn't changed you realy get to unwind . We stayed in room 14 which was a lovely spacious room overlooking the front aspect with en-suie bath with shower plus waterfall shower over the bath. The rooms are no longer serviced which we found fine you can always ask for clean towells / bin liners etc if needed. There are 2 bins provided on the landing to dispose of your rubbish, having said that the 2 bins provided in the room /bathroom had spare liners provided in the bottom so not an issue .&plenty of towells for a 7 night stay .The tower fan was a welcome addition in the heatwave &very effective . Breakfast was super, a good range of cereals, breads yogurts juice &coffee options with plenty of cooked options which were perfectly cooked by Linda, we remembered Linda's breakfast from our previous stay & it didn't disapoint, it definitely sets you up for the day ahead . The Belmont is perfectly placed for a stay on the island. Thank you for another lovely stay
