The Wellington Hotel

The location is great but not suitable for anyone who can't climb steps and the parking is outside in the road so not ideal. However the actual building and friendly staff more than make up for these hiccups!

So glad we stayed at the Wellington Hotel. It is a very quirky hotel. The people that run it are pretty much all family. They are extremely kind and helpful and fun. We loved racing up and down the 2 staircases leading to the sun terrace and breakfast room. The terrace view is to die for. OMG couldn't have been better. Great steps access directly to the beach. Amazing. The room was really good. It was nice to fall asleep listening to the waves rolling in and out. Would definitely recommend this fab hotel. Just don't be in a hurry and embrace the slow pace of island life.

The hotel is in a great location but our room needed some updating. I read some reviews before booking and had noticed that poor service had been mentioned but decided to book anyway. The welcome was great but the service at breakfast was non existent, after waiting 25 minutes for someone to take our order (a lot of the time there were no staff in the restaurant at at all) we gave up and went elsewhere for breakfast.
