The Grand Jersey

We stayed here recently as a family of 4 in an ocean view suite and had the most amazing time. Particular highlights: - complimentary milk and cookies for the children in the evening - housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean and the turndown service was a nice touch - fresh milk in rooms for teas/coffees - breakfast - food was fresh, delicious and plentiful - the view! Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Yes it is by a busy road but this means it has great access to the rest of the island and the beach is close by. It didn’t bother us at all!

This is a really nice hotel let down by its location on a really busy road. The staff were great, the room was nice, the bathroom was pretty good and the spa was nice too but our stay was spoilt by the constant noise from the busy road that the hotel fronts onto. It was a shock how busy the road was especially given how quiet the rest of Jersey was. The air conditioning and double glazed windows helped suppress the noise in the bedroom (and the traffic did die away at night time) but we won’t be returning I’m afraid.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Great location. Short stroll into the town. Bus stop, mini train stop and the boat to Elizabeth Castle are right outside. The staff were amazing and went out of there way to assist with our small issues. A special shout out to Star on reception. The breakfast was supberb. So much choice both on the buffet and the menu. Enjoyed having a drink and lunch on the outside terrace. Great views from here. The only reason i haven't given a 5 star was due to our room. We had a back facing twin room as unable to get a sea view. The room was very tired looking with no view at all, and very noisey with the window open. This would't put me off visiting again, but would make sure i got a seaview next time.
