Saints Bay Hotel

Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to share my great disappointment regarding a recent experience at the Saints Bay Hotel. I was on vacation in Guernsey with four friends and, wishing to enjoy the heated pool, the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying recommended your pool to us. She had even contacted your reception to check if there was space. She was told that there were spots available around the pool, even though the "dip and dine" service was not being offered due to construction. So we came, three women, with no children or animals, simply with the goal of enjoying the pool for about an hour. To our great surprise, we were asked to leave the hotel. Even though it was not done in an openly aggressive manner, we clearly had the feeling of being kicked out, which made us particularly uncomfortable. Yet we had been directed to your hotel based on the information provided by your reception, and we were not asking for a meal or any additional service. I perfectly understand that a hotel may have restrictions during construction. However, the way this situation was handled seemed particularly unfair and arbitrary to us. I simply wanted to share our feelings with you, because this experience really disappointed us a lot.

Disaster, horrid food all i ate was starter and sometimes puddings, all veg was frozen and if you want a cuppa at dinner time you have to pay for it extra

Awful experience I would give it no stars if I could. Food was awful and staff rude and unhelpful. Wilted salads which kept appearing night after night. Person serving salad with bare hands. Cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
