Just had afternoon tea at Eastwell. Food good, service awful. Young lady was not attentive at all. Had to ask several times for cutlery and condiments. Tried the bar afterwards and waited nearly 10 minutes for a member of staff to appear. Reception staff not friendly or welcoming.

We had a great experience in the spa restaurant. We often pop in for coffee and found the staff friendly and quick. Serg particularly has been very helpful 👍

For the first breakfast we had, we were treated as second best guests. There was a party taking place so we could not eat in the restaurant and had to have breakfast in the spa restaurant. Consequently, the choice at the Sage was limited, we also found the staff attention sporadic there. Another hiccup was that our room window, in the old building, would not close as the handle was broken. Given we were next to a roof I did not feel safe at night. The second night we were given a different room which was appreciated. On the positive, the food for diner was absolutely delicious, the restaurant staff was then attentive, polite and helpful, the environment indoor and outdoor delightful, cleanness very good.
