We had a great stay, but I especially wanted to mention the wonderful staff at the Conical Grill restaurant.
My son William is autistic and, while having a drink, noticed a small smudge at the bottom of his glass. Something like this can really upset him, but our waitress immediately recognised what was happening and handled it with such kindness and understanding.
Without us asking, the team then went completely above and beyond and brought William a brownie with a little personalised “Sorry William” message. He absolutely loved it!
It might sound like a small gesture, but as a parent it really wasn’t. I’ve rarely experienced that level of understanding when we’ve been out as a family, and it genuinely meant a lot.
A huge thank you to the waitress and everyone at the Conical Grill who made William feel so special. It was a lovely moment and one we’ll remember from our stay.

Spent 3 days at Tudor Park as part of a large golf society. The course was in good condition especially allowing for the extreme heat we have had.
The hotel rooms were good with great air conditioning units. However the bar and restaurant areas were not so air conditioned so was uncomfortable.
The facility were good and the food excellent both breakfast and dinner.
Now for the minor issue which stops me giving 5 stars. They insist on taking £350 security on a debit/credit card for the buggies. I’ve played in 100’s of courses around the UK and none of them do this, yes £20, or a set of car keys but £350 is ridiculous especially as the buggies are very old and in poor condition.
Everyone was complaining about this. Also there was a lot of confusion over the buggy booking, some weren’t booked, some for the wrong days, etc. this must be an easy fix, get a sheet drawn up and make it more efficient.
I would recommend the course and hotel but make sure you sort any buggies out well in advance

This review is primarily centered around the golf.
attended on a saturday and first time ive played there. a 2 ball tee given as a present and was really looking forward to a new course.
the proshop and reception was well laid out with reallly helpful staff. we had lunch in the upstairs bar area with views of the practice area and 1st tee. meal which came quickly and was good to eat. drinks as well, a little overpriced but not unusual for a hotel venue I guess.
we used the small driving range before our tee, which was adequate, and irons only, but good for a warm up.
we tee'd off at appx 13.20 with a 2 ball infront of us. while eating earlier we had noted a very large party of several 4 balls going out so expected some delays as the round developed.
Sadly we were already queueing to tee off by the second hole and it just got worse. random people standing on your fairways taking wayward shots, preventing you teeing off just one of the issues. little basic golf etiquette on show sadly.
after playing the 9th we passed infront of the clubhouse on the way to the 10th. it was now 4pm and had been out 2 3/4 hours already. we were then met by 2 fourballs waiting to tee off as well as the 2 ball we had been behind on the front 9. some were drinking beers in glasses, clearly bought at the club house we had passed. i wonder how many of this big group had done the same before them?
we wouldnt have teed off till nealry 4.30 and based on the front 9 , wouldnt have finished until gone 7pm. Im no golf snob by any means but nealy 6 hours for a round is a joke.
We left, as did the 2 ball behind us. really dissapointing management of the rounds that spoiled the day for us completely. it was a birthday present gift that we just didnt complete which was more annoying. its a shame as the tees and greens were decent and despite the dry weather, all looked well set up on the course itself.
it looks like fun days out are more acceptable than those wanting to play golf.
