Days Inn Sevenoaks (Clackett Lane)

The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was clean, but the room was worn out. The locks are old Yale type locks, the handles are worn, the carpet was worn through in places, the hair dryer had been replaced and the old location had not been made good, there are no sockets near the bed and no USB charging ports. The bed was only a double, smaller than you get elsewhere, and not overly comfortable. Basically for the quality of the room its overpriced considerably.

Stopped off to break up a journey. Check in was quick and the lady on reception was lovely, helpful and friendly. As we walked along corridor to our rooms there was a strong smell of damp. Went into rooms, bedding felt damp but i convinced myself i was imagining it because of the smell. Woke up in the morning and all mine and childrens belongings felt damp too. Bed was comfy. Tv didn't work properly and bathroom door wouldn't close. Was hoping to mention issues on departure but reception was closed.

Cheap basic room that was clean and tidy. A bit hot in the room, air con would be welcomed. But was able to open the window and it was surprisingly quiet through the night. There is room for improvement but we would stay again.
