Palace Farm Hostel & Campsite

Graham and Liz were excellent hosts and the accommodations was perfect for our needs. Liz was fantastic and went out her way to help us which was so good of her. Would definitely stay at Palace Farm again. The room was clean bright and quiet which again was exactly what we would expect. See you both again and thank you…….Paul and Jules 👍

I stayed for two nights recently, pitching my tent with my son. The campsite and shower block is very clean and tidy. Its a working farm, no frills but there is everything you need and a pub closeby, but they don't do food on Sunday nights and are not open on Mondays. Liz and Graham who run everything are super nice. You can hire a fire pit and they have logs and kindling. Its very peaceful and in a lovely country setting.

This place was such good value. The 5 of us shared a room with a private shower plus breakfast for £70 which was incredibly good value. We can never stay anywhere that cheap! The rooms were tidy and the bed linen was clean and plentiful. What was lovely was the setting; deep countryside and the rooms are built around an enclosed courtyard and there is table football bbq and grass to play on. A few families could easily hire this place out as there are multiple rooms as well as a cute little farmhouse - and have a ball! There is a communal kitchen and hang out area. This really didn’t feel like what I would expect a hostel to be. We had the run of it as nobody else was staying. Liz and Graham were really lovely owners and super helpful. We charged our car up there too. The Chequers was great and did a mighty fish and chips - some home cooked dishes too which were really good bang for your buck. We headed to Canterbury for a day trip which was not that far away, before heading out to the seaside.
