Athol Hotel

I was the only guest in the hotel. Room smelt a bit damp. Floor boards really creeky. TV remote control was a bit temperamental. Walking through the hallways was like someone was watching me. A hole in the floorboard by the window. Kettle was a bit temperamental and kettle was a bit old and needs a new one Didn't get a breakfast. Great seaview. 7/10

AVOID at all costs... This is without doubt the worst " hotel" we've ever stayed in... The room stunk!! Tv didn't work... went to make a cup of tea... the cartons of milk were like yogurt.. My husband got stuck in the toilet... door jammed... it was horrendous... The whole " hotel" is run-down and smells... its not seen a paint brush in years... or a duster... When I spoke to the owner he accepted it was bad but refused any sort of refund...

Me and my Friend booked a night here. It was very clean, warm and cosy. Service was second to none, very helpful and attentive, would definitely go back 10/10 Had breakfast at the American diner next door which was reasonably priced as was our stay at the hotel… Recommended 😊
