Best Western Carlton

Had a 2 day break at the best western carlton hotel, the hotel is in a very good place to explore the area and the staff are very friendly and helpful , the buffet breakfast sets you up for the day, hotel very clean and a very nice place to have a drink in the evening looking out over prom across the sea , we will be back.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Good food. Spotless rooms lounge and restaurant areas. Very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.

I booked an accessible room for myself and my mate as i am in a wheelchair. The room cost £270 for two nights. It was a very small room for someone in a wheelchair. I couldn't get my wheelchair up to the bed to try and get into bed and even if I could have done I couldn't get into bed as the bed was to high. So i ended up sleeping in my wheelchair fof two nights. Which i did not expect to do after payinv £270 just for the room. Then they had a big wardrobe in the room so I couldn't move around in my wheelchair between the beds and the wardrobe. The room also smelt of the sewage from the toilet. It wasn't nice at all. We took the dog with us only to be told when we got there he couldn't be left unattended in the room. I told them they need to state that on there Web Site for future guests because had i of known that i wouldn't of booked in the first place. The staff on the front desk where not very friendly either and didn't seem to care if you had a complaint or not. We did have an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel which was nice and the staff serving the food were very friendly. That was the only good thing I can say about our stay at the hotel. Definitely will not be booking there again.
