Claremont Hotel

The staff were fantastic. Until you get to Management. I had the unfortunetly bad expierence of somone passing away in the next room to us.(at this point God go with the person who had passed away) I would had thought the management would informed us. That way instead we were met by 2 undertakers taking the body away.By management failling to inform us what was going on. I did speak to the lady on duty about what had happened and she said its just one of those things. With no apolige. I just hope the said management has more understanding . If it should God forbid happen again. Room 406

An excellent Hotel in many ways , Every member of staff went out of there way to answer my sometimes over cautious requests with so much real dedication. I looked forward to evey meal the food was superb and the restaurant staff so proffessional I am really happy to go back in November 2026 . A special thankyou to the security gentleman on nights who helped with such generosity of nature at a super stressful time .

I went solo but was meeting family my first gripe was that there was no provision made for being a solo traveller so I had to pay for x2 people. There was a strong smell of sewerage throughout the hotel and in the corridors I walked along I could smell urine, weed, and bowel movement smells that escaped under the door. The hotel was like an oven and struggles to cool, the food was nice enough but you come out of the dining area feeling like you have come out of a sauna. I left a deposit and picked up a dirty and dusty fan from reception but they didn’t give me an extension to go with it and so the heat impacted my quality of sleep. I managed x3 hours the first night. The entertainment wasn’t great and was very basic very loud songs and allegedly comedians who got cross if people talked. The manager in the restaurant was very abrupt and rude and not very accommodating or welcoming but the lady who looked after my area went above and beyond and was exceptionally good at her job and an asset to the hotel. There was also a security guard who ensured everyone was safe and watched over the area outside the front. The room was spacious and clean but very dated. The hotel is all Inclusive but that isn’t true as there was no lunch or snacks provided and it’s a long time to not eat from 6pm until midnight
