Our ground floor family room appeared to have been cleaned by Stevie Wonder! The wardrobe drawers were hanging off and when we opened the wardrobe, we found the guests before had kindly left us some food crumbs for us to snack on. The fridge was also full of complimentary snacks in the form of what looked like someone’s pubes. The toilet brush in the bathroom was proudly displaying someone else’s poo and the bath itself was unusable with a danger of collapse if filled with water sign. It does make you wonder why this room is even being rented out in that condition. The rug was disgusting, matted and full of crumbs and debris and we found dried snot on multiple walls, which was a lovely finishing touch. The view from our window consisted of dozens of laundry bags stacked outside. The outside area has so much potential but is in a sorry state. Plant pots full of cigarette butts and dead weeds, the bins were full and didn’t get emptied at all during our stay. A quick tidy up, a few cushions and some fake plants would make such a difference and be more welcoming for guests. Finally the bunk beds….Every tiny movement produced squeaks loud enough to wake the entire hotel! If you ever wanted to know how much your child moves in their sleep, you’re in luck! I’ve stayed in many budget hotels before and don’t expect perfection but I do expect cleanliness, working furniture and a bath that doesn’t come with a structural warning. Sadly this stay delivered more laughs than comfort and not in a good way.

Arrived reception couldn't find booking told to wait 40 minutes later said found booking said only had room 22 which didn't have a working toilet told to wait again then found another room top floor stairs steep partner has asthma Staff not interested. We checked out first thing and had to find another hotel .I would never stay here again room very poor. Give this place a wide berth
