Stayed for one night. We had 3 rooms and all the rooms were clean and tidy. The pool room was very handy for the children after a long day to relax and have a couple of games. The price we paid was very good. The hotel is in a rundown street which might put people off. Careful on the steps outside as very slippy as my partner did slip on them and hurt her back. Also rooms can hear other rooms tvs which did keep me up during the night. Free on street parking when 10m along road it is over £15 a day which does help

Good budget hotel but on a very run down road with mostly shabby/derelict/undesirable buildings with lots of dog poo everywhere on the street. Also rif raf hanging outside one very dodgy looking building which I believed to be an hmo. The guy that runs the guesthouse was pleasant enough and swiftly attended to the 2 quiries I had during our stay - once where the electric had tripped in one room and then I requested more toilet roll and hand towel for the quad room. Room and bathroom both small and bathroom slightly outdated but fully functional with running hot water. Bedroom carpet needs a good hoover as there was a thick layer of dust all around edge of room. Room had outdated wardrobes but more enough space. We managed to park on street near enough outside, but there is a carpark just at the end of the road. No breakfast available. Guesthouse more than adequate for what we needed, as soon as we got there we went out to the illuminations/fair etc so just needed to get our heads down.
