Kirkstead Hotel

What a amazing place to stay under new management now the rooms have been recently decorated to a high standard the managers are friendly and very helpful the hotel is close to the front and attractions we have already booked again

Dirty ,smelly and very unprofessional and it says pleasant on booking.com!!! April 2025 Worst hotel . Do not recommend. Yeh it’s extremely cheap so we weren’t expecting much but is dirty and smelt bad! 4 of us booked through booking.com they denied that 4 booked even though my friend showed the booking , they where rude and even denied having a phone for the premises! so two of us sent over the road to an even worse b&b (apparently they have 4 in same road)we just left immediately. Men hanging about outside with huge dogs and not friendly, told my friend to f*** off when we said we weren’t checking in as the bar ceiling was in the floor. Found better hotel up road . They refused my friend’s their money back .2 of us didn’t check in and the other two stayed an hour . View from their extremely small room was bags of rubbish and dog p**. Told they weren’t allowed to take pictures or videos of the room .you can take a guess why . Told they over book every time so you have to stay in their other b&bs.

Budget friendly get away lovely staff and great value for the price paid. Only complaint was the kettle needed replacing in the room but was able to use the communal space downstairs with kettle etc so overall great stay! Also very close the the sea front…
