The hotel is very tired with poor quality fixtures and fittings. Our room had damp above the window above the bunk beds and mould in the same area. My Daughter had to request new bedding as there was a very large stain on the items fitted. The walls are paper thin and the whole place smells musty and is not very clean.

I had a one night stay in a family room with my son as we were visiting for the Pleasure Beach and Run the Lights 10k run. Very friendly owner helped me secure free on road parking upon arrival. Room was spacious enough with two double beds and a single bed which were comfy, if a little too creaky. Good size bathroom with a decent shower. Good standard of cleanliness. For a relatively cheap hotel within walking distance of the pleasure beach you can't go wrong with this.

Great location, close to the beach, Pleasure Beach, cafés, restaurants and takeaways. The train station is about a 5-minute walk away and the tram is right outside. The hosts were also really nice and accommodating.
