West Vale Hotel

Went for long weekend with 10 yr old. Very friendly and helpful owners. Ready to suggest places to visit, things to do. Very clean room, with comfy bed. The cooked breakfast was great. Each room assigned a table, just look for your name! Orange juice and croissants on table ready for arrival. Owner waiting to take hot drink and food order. Our 10yr old is a fussy eater and they accommodated he demands! Easy walking access to the Tower and central shops. No map required to find your way back. We would recommend going and would visit again.

Stayed for 2 nights, very cold and damp room ,towels were smelly ,sitting on the toilet was awkward position as the sink was in the way, heating was not good and told to turn heating off when you go out ,breakfast wasnt very good not hot poor quality .not good .

A very tiny room, but for sleeping only was fine. Ensuite as you would expect. Adjustable central heating which we turned off to achieve an ideal 16*C to sleep. Hosts Damon and Cat were absolutely fantastic and very helpful with experiences to see and do. Damon also arranged a seat for us at a local Indian Restaurant which turned out to be fantastic. Breakfast was typical B&B fayre but was was of an exceptionally high standard and Cat was more than accommodating with diet requirements. Aside from the small room the experience was very good and we would not only recommend but we would also happily revisit Cat & Damons West Vale Villa.
