Wilsons Hotel - Blackpool Tower View

This room was shocking we had mold on the walls thick dirty skirting boards the whole place smelt of damp and mould no curtains the photo are not true photos of how it looks now on arrival was told the card machine was not working so had to pay cash unfortunately we had no other options to stay eleswere as every were was fully booked and we needed a bed had to use sanitizer everywhere as was scared to even touch anything and feel sorry for those that book a room with out toilet facilities as the shared ones are not cleaned

We had a family room ( Doss hole The room is so bad broken glass tissue stuck to the ceiling cob webs and dirty . Within 10 minutes of viewing we requested a refund and never got this . Granda apartments are cheaper and 5 star .

Had the misfortune of staying 2 nights at this place last July for the Oasis gig at Heaton Park last July as I tried to erase this from my memory but couldn't remember the exact name of it....until I saw reviews and photographs of the exact room we stayed in on top floor. It was a treat as I travelled down with my grandson and planned to make a great few days break but I hated every second I stayed in here. The owner or manager gave us our keys...hardly no interaction just a here's your keys ..top floor, opened the door and I was like....WTAF?? I said to my grandson let's leave but he insisted we stay as he couldn't be bothered moving. The shower was filthy, the sealant was black with mould and the shower itself was broken and kept falling to the side, the bed was uncomfortable and I couldn't bare to check under the top sheet and look at the mattress! On the day we were leaving I was woken up by a young couple next door to us arguing and screaming and swearing at each other as their young child cried at 5:30am this continued for over an hour or more, and I just lay there thinking.....I can't wait to get out of this dump! This place needs condemned and how the authorities or council let places in Blackpool like this call themselves a hotel while fleecing holidaymakers is a disgrace as the photographs on the official website are a far cry from what's actually being offered. Btw I never booked this as my son did but couldn't make the trip so I went instead..I'd rather sleep rough than stay here ..and I won't back ....ever!
