Best Western Glendower Promenade

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel as we travelled each day down to the Royal Birkdale Open. The room was massive and had a wonderful bay window with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff were lovely and we want to give a special mention to Hayley who gave us her parking space as they were full when we got back on Wednesday night. We had the sandwiches off the bar menu and they were delicious with crisp salad and coleslaw. We will definitely be back thank you

We have visited the Glendower multiple times it’s a great hotel, we had a superior sea view room this time great room with great views, Breakfast was also good, order what you want table service. It’s the staff that make this hotel – pleasant, friendly, willing to help, sadly there are just not enough of them on this visit which Hinders the service that they can provide but they do there very best -management please take note! Management please also take note that this is our 3rd visit when the Wainwrights draught beer has not been available apparently you only get one per week and it soon runs dry simple solution ORDER MORE, please

I cannot praise the Glendower highly enough ! We stayed last night for Lytham festival and from the moment we checked in we were so impressed. We arrived early and asked if we were okay to park in the car park and were told that they would check if our room was ready, it was, so we were able to check in and have a look round before the festival. The staff were amazing, everyone was so professional and so friendly, especially Hailey in the bar and restaurant who chatted to us about Teddy Swims and was just lovely. Hope we have your name right 🥰 The food was fantastic and the late night pizza ! Not only is that a genius idea, serving till 1am in the bar after the festival, but they were so tasty ! After waiting for an Uber for an hour and a half, to get back to the hotel and have the option of home made pizza was brilliant. We booked a compact double but it was fine for us as we were out and about most of the time. The breakfast was exceptional ! The service was second to none, I can honestly say that everyone we came across was so professional, so friendly and it really does make a difference. The hotel is beautiful, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much.
