Love love loved our stay. The staff we friendly knowledgeable and really wanted to help in every situation. We enjoyed food in the restaurant the burgers were absolutely delicious and the service was smooth. The hotel was clean, modern the beds were comfy, and I had a fabulous sleep with the black out blinds and quiet Aircon! The hotel offered great access straight off the motorway and was easy to find. The grounds were well kept and enabled a walk round and the outside seating area was well kept and serviced. Breakfast was lovely, great choice I enjoyed the sausage and mushrooms on lovely wholewheat bread with marmalade whilst my husband had a full English with juice and coffee. There was a good selection including gluten free which we always struggle with. Definitely recommend staying here ...we will be back !

Stayed here while on a coach trip with caladonian travel me & husband room 103 very comfy bed beautiful shower room with walk in shower and dove products evening meal was OK breakfast on Sunday morning was fantastic really good sausage and bacon fresh orange juice and good coffee staff so friendly would definitely return

Holiday Inn Express Preston – South Date of stay: 31/05/2026 – 01/06/2026 As a loyal IHG guest for over 20 years, historically staying around 70–100 nights per year and now around 30–40 nights post-Covid, I feel I know the brand well. This visit to Holiday Inn Express Preston – South was fully in line with the standards I have come to expect. Arrival and Check-In The hotel was easy to find using the postcode and sat nav, making for a smooth and stress-free journey. Parking was straightforward, with a large car park directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is located around five miles from Preston city centre and is conveniently close to Junction 29 of the M6 motorway. Check-in was quick and welcoming, and the reception team made an excellent first impression. As an IHG member, I was warmly acknowledged and offered the choice of bonus points or a complimentary drink, which was a small but much-appreciated touch. Room and Cleanliness The room was spotlessly clean, well presented and in good condition, fully in line with IHG standards. Fixtures, fittings and linens were fresh and well maintained. Dining Experience Breakfast offered a good balance of continental options and cooked items, all included in the room rate, which is always a plus. Check-Out Check-out was smooth and efficient, with professional and courteous staff ensuring everything was completed quickly. Overall Impression A comfortable, clean and well-run hotel that delivered the reliable IHG experience I have come to expect. A solid stay, and I would happily return. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
