Holiday Inn Express Preston - South

Charged my Tesla recieved £100 fine, nothing about checking in and registration required…. I won’t be using this stop again. Hope Elon removes charges from this scamming site !!!

My hubby and I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Preston South whilst on a coach trip with Caledonian Travel. Our room 123 was lovely. The bed was super comfy and bathroom spotless. Shower was warm and loved the Dove products. We had an evening meal included which was good, piping hot and buffet style. The steak pie was delicious. Breakfast was great all be it a little bit manic. Food again was lovely. Staff are brilliant at this hotel, so attentive, friendly and genuinely a real credit to the hotel.

I have just received a fine through the post after charging my car in the car park of this hotel. I can't believe this is still happening after the amount of poor reviews you have received over the years. This is a clear scam if I have ever seen one and you are clearly trapping people. The response has been that there is signs and also that it mentions this on the Tesla app. Although this is true, this is one of the only charging spots in the UK where you need to register to prevent a charge. The won't do more to prevent more people getting caught out because of the amount of fines they are issuing.
