Booked a table for 6pm New Years Eve,took the booking and my phone No,when we arrived they were not open,didnt have the decency to phone me so based on that I have given a poor rating.I then had to scrambe around for somewhere to eat with my party.

We called here for Sunday Lunch, not realising it is really an Italian restaurant but roast beef or turkey were on the menu. Our meals were lovely and not expensive at £8.50 each. What seemed strange was that we were the only people in the restaurant so it was a little bit short on atmosphere. Obviously it's not a very popular place despite being situated on a main road. We probably won't be returning.

2 couples met for Xmas meal. Freezing. Log burner not lit. Empty. Main dish . Hard chicken, sauce , chips, no vegetables. Calamari poor.very expensive for quality. Absolutely not going back. Dispute over which wine was ordered. Food was cold. Went because last time it was very good.
