Premier Inn Leicester West

It's NOT a Holiday Inn. It's a converted house with rooms. Shared bathrooms which are not clean. If I was to look for a room for an illicit encounter... I wouldn't even pick this one... stay clear unless you are desperate... it is all automated check in so as soon as you walk through the door your card is charged... breakfast... Jesus.. I had to walk through the kitchen to get to my room... I was desperate for a room after a long journey from London, but decided to continue to my final destination another 5hrs away after an "already" long day which started 11hrs prior to my arrival...

if you want a peaceful night sleep - not the best choice of hotel. We were on 3rd floor room next to lift. everytime someone presses the lift button - the lift starts to speak - this is not the best location if you want a peaceful night sleep. also kept aware by strange noises in middle of night. housekeeping start early in this hotel - again on bank holiday not the best start to your day.. breakfast was great ----- lastly, even tho the check out time was 12 ---- housekeeping knocking on door asking when you checking out at 10ish NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE ON BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND --- LASTLY STILL WAITING FOR OPERATION MANAGER TO RING

We stayed Saturday night here at the Holiday Inn, did not arrive until 11.30pm very tired after travelling. We were made very welcome the bar was open until late if required, and the staff even offered to arrange takeaways if we were hungry either Chinese of Indian, which was very good of them. We had a lovely large room, you know with this company the standard to expect, which is always very good clean etc. After a great nights sleep, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast which has everything to choose, very fresh and hot, short of nothing really good. Would certainly stay here again and recommend, I booked this hotel after looking on tripadvisor which helped me make my choice for this hotel. Give the Holiday inn's a go you wil not be disappointed. Just what we needed for a stopover.
