STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. In my 43 years of working away, I have never had to break out of an hotel. 7:30, I could not get to reception as the internal corridor door was locked from the other side. The only exit out was through a door blocked by a table and again locked. I had to release the top and bottom latches of the adjoining door to get out. I have reported this to Leicester Fire service for their attention. The small bits No toilet paper ( after the event, pair of socks waisted) No plugs in sink or bath No shower curtain or mat Sour UHT milk The shower mixer did not work The hot water tap on the bath did not open, Tea cups not clean, Plus points It was quiet

Hotel needs updating, not a good appearance from the outside, very overgrown. Hotel room curtains need to be washed and windows cleaned. Mould around the bath. No toiletries supplied, carpets and furniture need a good deep clean. Sheets and towels very white and great condition. Could be a great hotel, just needs updating and general deep cleaning. No one manning the reception.
