Nothing like website photos I’ve seen better student accommodation. This place is filthy. The Carpets frayed and stained and the doors don’t shut properly. The stair carpet is dangerous. The banister rail wobbles, kitchen is filthy…cooker hood is caked with grease. The shower cubicle is thick mould…no window to air it out. I wouldn’t sleep a pig in here if we hadn’t already paid for it I’ve been out of here.

We stayed here 11th to 18th April 20026. Where to start, on approach to entrance the porch way was full of dead leaves and general dirt, on opening the apartment door we were greeted by an extremely dirty age old door mat which was a indicator of things to come. The door is not a good fit, you have to body charge it to open it and when its closed the is a huge gap between it and the frame, one particular windy night we could feel the draught from the bed. The door opens into the ground floor bedroom, the bedside lights were filthy and encrusted with cobwebs, as was the main light. There is extremely poor cloths hanging space. The bathroom is an en suite, it has a very stylish rust encrusted shower storage tray and the rust that drips from it makes a wonderful brown stain on the shower floor. The shower has severe problems with the multi nozzle jets as most don't work and they are all hanging off and heavily corroded. The toilet seat is a challenge as it relocates from one side to the other if you move while in situ. There is no heated towel rail so we took the towels and hung them over the banister upstairs, The long stair banister is very loose. Upstairs, yes, food on the outside of the microwave, dirty cupboard frontals and inside, cobwebs on lights and the broken standard light is held together with a jubilee clip. ITS WORTH NOTING THAT THERE IS NO EVEIDENCE OF PAT TESTING STICKERS ON ANY ELECTRICAL ITEM. On the plus side we found the bed comfy, also the settee and bar stools. Wifi was very hit and miss and on the first morning of our stay I rang the contact number to ask for it to be sorted and got a very poor response from the guy I had just woken who sounded like he had been on a bender the night before. Would I recommend this apartment 3D, NEVER!!! Probably one of the worst places we have ever stayed.

Stopped in apartment 3B was clean but the kitchen needs a revamp, doors didn't close properly and a new kettle needed. That said it was extremely quiet and only a 15 to 20 minute walk into the town. Secure parking was a bonus but be aware that there is only room for one car per apartment.
