Very disappointing. The breakfast this morning was the worst hotel breakfast ever. A buffet where the eggs were solid with very "plastic" whites, the hash browns were cold, the bacon tepid and chewy the tomato was OK. All this luxury for the sum oof £14!

Positives - The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and the location is perfect. Negatives - The hotel is in a poor state and needs extensive refurbishment and renovation inside and outside.

This hotel location good for attractions up the steep hill castle, prisons cathedral. Warm friendly atmosphere. Staff excellent have been here for the National Association of City and Town Sheriffs of England and Wales annual gathering which Lincoln was hosting this year. Lauren the front of house manager runs her team as slick as cutting butter with a knife. All the staff are cheerful and attentive. You have done the association and your city proud. All meals especially the Sheriffs Dinner was excellent. All reception areas lovely and you can see where they are trying to upgrade the rooms. Only criticism was carpets in bedroom really need to become a priority on the list. Also fantastic views of the Cathedral.
