We stayed here after attending a gig at Hyde Park. We stayed in a downstairs large room which was okay for one night. Unfortunately it was very hot in the room with only 1 fan to keep cool so sleeping was a struggle. The bathroom and shower were clean and absolutely fine, the shower was nice in fact and plenty of towels on hand. The staff were pleasent and helpful throughout. You could hear the undeground train lightly in the room we were in but nothing that would disturb us. The breakfast was continental and nice with plenty of choices. If the temperature of the room was considered i think we would stay again.

Well, this was our third time in London and the Bluebells was the best hotel so far. But you have to differentiate that. I simply divide into positive and negative aspects. Pros: - Location, proximity to Öfis and pubs - Portobello Road around the corner - Room large, bathroom large - Staff very nice - clean - Breakfast in order - Equipment rooms good - Price okay Cons: - Subway noise at night - Shaggy view of backyard - Plastic tarpaulin in front of window - Toilet seat broken Overall, we thought it was fine.

Hotel was as you'd expect for the age of the building. We actually had an ok experience until we left. My daughter accidentally left some shoes behind, very expensive shoes by the way, the hotel flat out refused to return them. We had already left the country when they said that we'd have to supply the box and postage for the return.. Can't possibly begin to know the weight for postage without the items in question as well as to ship a box for shipping from America! Absolutely no customer service. I assume someone is walking around London with her shoes on.
