Orchard Hotel

Embarrassing!!!! Access to the room via a steep, narrow, and unstable staircase ..Tiny room with an equally small bathroom, without a courtesy kit and not even a mat to put in front of the shower!!! breakfast from 7:30 to 8:45 is scandalous!!! I have traveled half the world and have never seen anything like it… tiny buffet with cooked ham, cheese, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and little jams… they serve you toast at the table, coffee and milk only in thermoses!!! no fruit, no yogurt, no croissants, truly scandalous!!!

The hotel is not recommended at all. We knew that we could not expect much, but it was truly terrible. Much of this coincides with the other reviews. Fortunately, however, we did not have any critters in the bed. But: The room was very small and unbearably hot. We did not need our bedding. On the first day, the water trickled out of the shower, so that one had trouble rinsing out the shampoo. After a sweaty night, I was standing in the shower again when the water suddenly cut out completely, just after I had rinsed my hair! We were lucky, because it didn't run again until we checked out. The breakfast was the worst we have ever "enjoyed." "Toast," one type of cheese and boiled ham, not very tasty, tasted like plastic, jam from little tubs, plus instant coffee, extremely strong. It was undrinkable. Hotel guests had to wait in the hallway until a table became free to eat breakfast, because there were too few tables. A dark room, an insane noise level, everything echoed. This is not how one imagines the start of a vacation day. The receptionist did not care that we had no water. We completely advise against booking this hotel.
