Sanctum Soho Hotel

My husband and I had a fabulous Japanese afternoon tea, in the Wild Heart restaurant for our wedding Anniversary.The setting is intimate, quirky, very pleasing to the eye and extremely comfortable. The staff were all delightful being friendly and helpful. We felt vey relaxed and certainly not rushed. The food was amazing, very different and beautifully presented. As a vegetarian , I was also well catered for. After our tea we visited the terrace rooftop bar which, again had been very well thought out, in fact the entire hotel has a lovely unique feel about it and an ideal situation , right in the heart of London and easy to get to. We will definitely be returning in the near future and, will be recommending to family and friends. In all a wonderful experience which made our day special. Thank you

Our whole weekend was to celebrate my wife, Carolyn, on her birthday, with a stay here, a VIP experience watching Jesus Christ Superstar and a few shops being visited. We arrived nigh on check in 15:00 (as we wanted to experience everything the hotel had) and due to us doing that, the room wasn't quite ready, so we were ushered into the restaurant/bar for some free Champagne which was a lovely treat. Once the room was ready, which was not a long wait, we went via the lift but we used the stairs all the time afterwards, just to enjoy the artwork, which is hanging everywhere! We have to say, the room is amazing. I chose a Junior Suite, mainly due to the rock star look of it and it did not disappoint! The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning excellent but the bath, well, look at the pictures, it was the focal point of the room and the reason I booked this room. The breakfast was tasty and filling enough to start the day on. The other meal we had was for hotel guests, which included sharing platters and we had that, plus a few other items, just to try as much as we could. The roof bar was relaxing and so was the hot tub, which I visited early on Saturday morning. Definitely a highlight. As for the rest of the hotel, as I said earlier, look at every wall for the art. There's a dalek owned by Bruce Dickinson guarding the toilets in the basement. As for those toilets, well if you like to play the piano, you can in the gents. One final thing, we did meet the co-owner Mark and told him how much we are enjoying our stay and he regaled us with a few Rock stories and guests but obviously, you will need to stay there to hear them! To round it all off, the staff were brilliant, from those that were doing all the cleaning and preparing the rooms, to the polite bar staff right up to Fay and Babra on reception who were an absolute credit to the hotel. Lovely to talk to and such fun. It's people like this who elevate the whole experience! Oh and we will be coming back for another amazing stay!

We stayed a night at the Karma Sanctum in Soho as we were going to see a show. I booked it one the off chance and was more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is fantastically situated in the heart of Soho, within easy reach of lots of bars and restaurants. The reception we received when we booked in was superb and the feel of the whole place was just lovely. The room we had was a superior and though not huge, was very well appointed with a great bathroom and lovely features. We also sampled the roof bar (on a beautiful balmy August night) and had a very relaxed drink. All in all, a fantastic hotel that we will visit again next time we are in London.
