The perfect venue for an 18th birthday! We recently booked Smiths Cocktail Bar for our daughter’s 18th birthday, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue. We were looking for somewhere that would give our daughter the exciting feel of a club for her 18th, but that would also work well for a family celebration and Smiths was absolutely perfect. From the moment we booked, the team were amazing. I had quite a few questions in the run-up to the party, and every email was answered quickly and helpfully. It made organising everything so much easier and gave us real peace of mind. On the evening itself, the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, welcoming, attentive and incredibly accommodating throughout the whole night. Nothing was ever too much trouble. In fact, so many of our guests commented afterwards on how lovely and helpful the staff were, which really says a lot about the team. The food was also absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, and again, we had so many guests commenting on how good the food was. It was lovely to know that everyone was enjoying it as much as we were. The venue itself is beautiful. I believe it holds around 110 people standing, and I think this is the perfect size for a party. It felt intimate and had a fantastic atmosphere without ever feeling crowded. The décor and lighting are gorgeous and really help create that special party/club feel, which was exactly what we wanted for an 18th birthday. Most importantly, our daughter had an amazing night and absolutely loved it. Seeing her have such a brilliant time made all the planning worthwhile. A huge thank you to everyone at Smiths Cocktail Bar for helping make her 18th birthday so special. The venue, food, atmosphere and, most of all, the staff were all fantastic. A little parking tip for anyone driving: The only small downside, and this isn’t really anything to do with the venue itself, is that the local parking rules have recently changed on some of the surrounding roads. Previously, I believe you could park for free on the side roads from around 6:30pm, but there are now restrictions in place until 11pm, with parking limited to 90 minutes. We found a handy way around this for some of our guests who were driving. We advised them to arrive at around 9:30pm, so they could pay for 90 minutes of parking, taking them up to 11pm, when the restrictions then end and parking becomes free. Hopefully that little tip might be useful to anyone else planning a visit! We would wholeheartedly recommend Smiths to anyone looking for somewhere special to celebrate. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonder stay here. The staff is marvelous - friendly and helpful. There is a terrific restaurant, bar and garden area on the ground floor. Our room was at the top (must be able to take stairs) and incredibly charming, comfortable and well appointed. Easy access to restaurants and transportation.

Lovely hotel in great location (10 minute walk to Hammersmith Apollo) Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection. Would definitely stay again.
