Excellent and highly recommended. Stayed 2 nights, all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and friendly, great location with tube station directly at rear of the hotel with easy access to central London, limited on-site car parking at a very reasonable £15 per 24 hours, excellent breakfast with a really good choice of foods and with a combination of hot and cold foods, breakfast food quality was excellent too, hotel and room was all very clean and good amenities in the room. Great choice for anyone driving to London and/or wanting to stay on the outskirts but wanting easy access on the tube into London. Several convenience stores nearby also. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Let me be direct: this stay was expensive, exhausting, and thoroughly disappointing from start to finish. **The Room — Not What You're Paying For** For a branded IHG property, the room condition was embarrassing. Cleanliness was inconsistent at best — surfaces that clearly hadn't been properly wiped down, bathroom grout that told a story of years of neglect, and housekeeping that seemed to operate on its own mysterious schedule. For a stay of 12 nights, basic upkeep should be a given, not a luxury. **Maintenance — Broken and Staying That Way** Issues with the room were flagged to staff. Nothing was fixed. A hotel that charges what this one does has absolutely no excuse for leaving maintenance problems unresolved for days on end. It speaks to a systemic culture of indifference, not just an off day. **Noise — Forget Sleeping** Sleep deprivation should not be a feature of a hotel stay. Noise — whether from corridors, neighbouring rooms, trains right next to the hotel or the building itself — was a recurring problem throughout the 12 nights. There is nothing more demoralising than lying awake in a hotel room you've paid good money for, unable to rest. **The Food — A Genuine Low Point** Breakfast was, on most mornings, underwhelming. For a hotel of this scale and price point, the quality and variety for breakfast on offer felt like an afterthought. A proper breakfast sets the tone for the day — Holiday Inn Park Royal consistently failed to deliver even that small comfort. **The Staff — Indifferent and Unaccountable** This is perhaps the most damning aspect of the entire stay. I raised complaints. They were acknowledged with the kind of hollow politeness that makes it clear nothing will be done — and nothing was. Good hospitality isn't about scripted responses; it's about actually resolving problems. The staff here appeared either unwilling or untrained to do so. Management, if you're reading this: your guests should not have to repeatedly ask for basic standards to be met, only to be met with shrugs and empty assurances. **Value for Money — Absolutely None** 12 days. Significant money spent. What did I get? A tired room, broken facilities, indifferent service, mediocre food, and disrupted sleep. The Holiday Inn brand carries an expectation of reliability and comfort. Park Royal does not live up to it. To the management: a hotel's reputation is built night by night, guest by guest. You have a serious problem with standards and accountability. I hope this review reaches someone with the authority — and the will — to actually do something about it. I would not return. I would not recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff, however, what a good breakfast! Powdered eggs, bacon and sausages... together with coffee and milk and little more were brilliant. we went to this hotel just before we catch the train back to Sheffield just to stay for overnight after a long flight back to Gatwick from Barcelona and the staff did a good job finding the right room for us. About the room, it is so comfortable! Small bed for a couple, old tough pillows, two emergency lights on the ceiling impossible to turn off.
