We stayed here with my family of 4 for the first week in July 2026. We booked direct with the hotel and they were very responsive to questions and inquiries before my trip. When we arrived one of our rooms was available early, which was a nice surprise. We requested rooms near each other so our family could be together, and the rooms were right next door in their own little alcove, so it was nice convenient. The breakfast that is included is a big buffet with nearly everything and the breakfast staff were top shelf, greeting us warmly each morning and wishing us well each time we departed. The rooms were ideal and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. We did not need fresh towels each day, but they were still provided. Coffee/tea service in the room was above average too. It was nice also to have a hotel bar open 24 hrs for any needs (though it was mostly ice water requests) We were very happy with the location - seconds from good restaurants and pubs, and just a few minutes walk to major tube lines. We walked home late several nights and the area felt safe. Hotel staff were excellent throughout our stay and overall we had a terrific experience. Highly recommended!

Every now and then you come across a hotel that pleasantly surprises you, especially when your expectations aren't particularly high.
Gem Fitzrovia is located just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Street and Regent's Park. The hotel has a traditional English charm, with Chesterfield furniture in the reception area – exactly what you would expect.
Although we booked an Executive Room, it certainly wasn't one of the largest. It featured carpeted floors and a rather traditional décor, but it was spotlessly clean, had efficient air conditioning, and a spacious, recently renovated bathroom with a bathtub.
The biggest surprise, however, was the breakfast. The dining room was bright, welcoming, and beautifully presented, with a wide selection of food and exceptionally friendly staff. It was far better than we had expected based on our previous hotel stays in London.
After spending five nights at Gem Fitzrovia, our conclusion is that it is a charming and well-run four-star hotel in an excellent location, with a breakfast that far exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend it and would be very happy to stay there again.

We held our conference at this hotel, and the entire process went very smoothly. The staff were extremely supportive and helpful throughout. The meeting rooms were also excellent and very professional.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
Location – Absolutely excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of the British Museum and Hyde Park, and you can reach Big Ben in about 20 minutes by bus. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the area feels very safe and pleasant.
Atmosphere – Warm and welcoming, with a relaxed and comfortable vibe throughout the hotel.
Rooms – Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The room was quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep despite being in a central location.
Value – Very reasonable for the quality and prime location offered. Good value for money.
Cleanliness – Impeccable. Both the room and common areas were kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
Noise level – Very low. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, even at night.
Service – Outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help with any questions or requests.
Amenities – Well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to London.
