Hilton London Gatwick Airport

MATALIIA give us a sense of home-like experience, her service is pretty good.

Flight cancelled and the airline had us all at this Hilton in the south terminal. Bright and airy main area and bar/restaurants and the rooms nicely appointed. The meal vouchers were for the Garden restaurant only which was buffet style. So plenty of food choices and it was quite good. The staff were sympathetic to our situation. They greeted us with a cheerful smile and were very polite and helpful. Vithursan approached us and asked us if we enjoyed the food and was the atmosphere relaxing considering we were thrown into this situation en masse. Great customer service for a not great situation as a traveller. The only thing I would ask is to open up the buffet time a bit longer to filter the mass of bodies through. Overall, I would stay here and have dinner or breakfast if I was in between connections or awkward flight times. Thank you

My flight was cancelled last minute at Gatwick Airport. Air Transat put me in the Hilton South. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I was given a voucher to have lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next morning. Vithursan assisted me in the Garden Restaurant and was warm and hospitable. The food was also quite good! Thank you for making my delay stress-free and as smooth as possible.
