Pembridge Palace Hotel

Positive Excellent location close to Hyde Park and liars of places to eat Lovely quiet location away from traffic noise Room and public areas very clean Room was small and basic but comfortable Negative The heat in the room was unbearable. It was like a furnace even though there were 2 fans on the go and the window left wide open. It’s a shame the owners can’t spend some money providing aircon as it’s provided in the reception area.

Very pleasantly surprised as I do not believe it deserves a 2.6 rating. Yes it does need modernisation but it was good value for money. The hotel is situated in a very quiet residential area but close to 3 tube stations. All within comfortable walking distance. Bayswater, Queensway and Royal Oak. Very close to Kensington Park. Bayswater high street 5mins walk good variety of pubs, shops and restaurants. We were in room 4Xx Yes it was very small and the bathroom was tiny. But it was clean, well equipped. Sheets and towels replaced everyday. Hot water plentiful. There was a fridge and water was replenished each day. Staff super friendly but a special mention must go to Sylvester in the breakfast room. So helpful. The breakfast itself was adequate to set you up for the day. Hot choice and continental each day. You were positively encourage to take a piece of fruit for the day ahead. The terrace garden was pleasant and lovely to sit out in and read. The main issue was the heat. The rooms were so hot a fan was provided but then it’s not the hotels fault there was a heatwave. There is no air-con, other than the communal area. To sum up location perfect. Rooms small but did the job. There is no bar or evening meal option. Would definitely return.

Great location and easy to get to from Euston. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of water provided for free, which was welcome on a very hot day in London!
