Great value for money in this corner of London. We stayed there with my 2 older teenagers, the room was really spacious, clean and the beds super comfortable. Great location between Paddington tube station and Hyde Parc, there are also quite a few restaurants and pubs in the area. Negative point: The elevator was out of service, which is a shame because we were on the top floor. Bring an eye patch because there are no shutters or blackout curtains, but that's in all London hotels! If I have to come back to London, this is the hotel I will choose!

In a quiet residential area near Bayswater. Plain and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. No noise at night. No breakfast. Plenty of restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

We were obliged to find a hotel in London because of strikes on the railways. There was not much choice. As it turned out, the Cleveland Hotel more than fitted the bill, after a long day of travel to arrive in London in the early evening. It's a very quiet location, well-placed for the Underground or for hailing a cab. It is simply furnished but our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a really excellent shower! As a very simple 'room only' base for anyone wishing to explore central London, this would be a good option.
