The hotel is extremely tired and in desperate need of renovation. However, we were travelling with our 3 children and with a large garden and swimming pool it worked well for us. We had two adjoining rooms (15&17) which gave us ample space and the rooms were large and quiet. Particular mention has to go to Nickie on breakfast every morning - she was absolutely delightful and nothing was too much bother. It was like being met by a friend each morning. We also thought the breakfast was very good and we ordered different eggs each morning. Pastries were fresh and if they ran out you only needed to ask and they replenished. Spencer on reception was also very helpful. Slightly disappointed with the staff at the pool who, even though there was no one in there other than us - wouldn’t let the kids even jump in the pool. Some discretion could definitely have been exercised in this case. Overall, this worked well for us with 3 kids.

The whole place is amazing, clean nice with everything we need! Jeff on reception was super helpful, telling us what to do in the area and hotel facilities, and we will be staying here every time we are working in the area!

Whilst the staff are really friendly, that is the only positive about this dated and noisy hotel. Rooms are extremely old, showers terrible and the whole place is in desperate need of an update. Breakfast options were very limited. No air conditioning in the rooms. I will definitely not be back.
