Mercure Hull Royal Hotel

Room was well clean and in good condition,bed very comfy, no noise when event take place.Reception team alweys welcome and friendly.Housekeeping smiling and very helpful.Restaurant was also great breakfast was well presented. Thank you for making my last months special. Will be back.

Same story as most others. Booked a one night stay in September 2022 as convenient for my destination that evening. Several weeks later received a note via Booking.com that the booking was cancelled by the hotel as a "contract" had been extended. No email or phone call or even a text from the hotel; just a note on the booking app, which I noticed only by chance. COVID-related panicking has been the death of notions of customer service in this country. Everyone seems to feel they can get away without even the slightest attempt to serve customers.

We booked a reservation whilst we attend a event at the bonus arena only for them a month later to cancel us due to a extended group booking. Apparently there money is much better than ours. Cost us more now to book somewhere else as the prices have surged, hence why we booked in advance. They then don’t answer the phone when you try to call. Disgusting service
