Having seen reviews after booking we arrived not sure what to expect but overall we had a good stay. We had a courtyard room which was clean and well presented, although it could have done with some soundproofing but we slept fine. The spa had 2 fantastic pools, one decent size for swimming lengths if you wanted to, and a pleasantly warm one in the thermal spa. A couple of the thermal rooms were still out of action, but overall we enjoyed our visit. We ate in the main restaurant. The food was nice. The bar menu looked more extensive which we would try if staying again. We had drinks in the pub. Breakfast was ok for what we had. Overall we found staff friendly. Whilst next to housing there is open land with footpaths behind for local walks.
