Cannot get hold of anyone to cancel wasted so much time trying to cancel after they cancelled a conference there. Rubbish accessibility and customers service/ what customer service. Mr oliver Winter take a look at your service... Have emailed germany, called cut off numbers and reply - cancel my booking for 6-8th may nikki purcell as you cancelled the conference room

Stayed two nights at a&o Manchester and the experience was disappointing, especially considering the price (£210 with breakfast). When we returned to our room in the afternoon, it had not been cleaned . When we raised the issue at reception, the response from the person in charge was cold and unhelpful: “There is NO daily housekeeping unless you request it in advance via their app”. This was not communicated during booking or at check-in. According to this person, the information was on sticker behind the door that you could barely see. This is not acceptable for a hotel of this category. There was no attempt to understand the situation or offer any solution — just a rigid reference to “company policy.” This policy is also not stated on booking.com, which is were we made our reservation. At no point during the booking process were we informed that daily housekeeping is not provided unless requested via an app. This lack of clear information at the time of booking, is misleading and does not allow customers to make an informed decision. The safe in the room was not working. According to the receptionist, this was due to the change of the Company. He said that since Novotel left, the safes are not in use! Breakfast was also poor: low-quality diluted juice, etc. I asked if it was possible to have a fried egg, and I had a “no” as an answer. in that particular moment, there was very little work at the buffet area. I don’t think it would have been difficult to do. Overall, not good value for money and not a customer-focused experience.
