Very disappointing stay at Diamond Lodge, Manchester. On arrival, reception staff made repeated inappropriate comments about our relationship, including referring to us as “lesbians” and warning us not to go outside because we might get stabbed. This was unprofessional and made us feel unsafe. The room was also in poor condition, with stains and hair on the bed, a worn bathroom, and a door that didn’t feel secure. After the stay, I reached out to raise these concerns, but my message has been ignored and there has been no attempt to communicate or offer any compensation. Overall, an uncomfortable experience and far below expectations.

Stayed at the hotel as a paying guest and followed all parking instructions by providing my vehicle registration at reception. Despite this, I am now being pursued for a £170 parking charge due to an error in the hotel’s parking system. I have contacted the hotel multiple times and was assured this would be resolved, it has now been more then 6 months and I am still receiving debt recovery letters.
