Doubletree By Hilton Piccadilly

Right from the start the reception staff were so accommodating and helpful. We were able to park our car in the basement very easily. The room although small was immaculate and very comfortable. The bar and breakfast staff were so lovely. Honestly I couldn’t fault it..not quite sure of the perfumed smell in the room but other than that 10 out of 10. Ps loved the warm cookie on arrival too! A very good standard of hotel well done Hilton!

Wrong un Keating described life as a roller coaster and other than his dispute with Louis Walsh, I have found his words wise counsel in challenging times. I was in those confusing and conflicted thoughts when I arrived on Auburn street on an extended period of respite care from my older wife. Every single staff member was lovely and I haven’t been bribed by double cookies on arrival . Let’s start the day with breakfast and the chefs behind the scenes know how to poach an egg and caramelise a tomato . Shall I go on ? No ! Forget Michelin and Eggon Ronay , my work is done ,stay here ,enjoy the gym,smile back at the staff and understand how if Manchester is now once a week the new London ,then I for one are mad for it !

Super stay at the hotel last night; everything was perfect, from the welcoming reception to lovely soft bathrobes in the room. A great night's sleep in a super comfy bed and an excellent breakfast this morning, with great coffee and poached eggs on the buffet! A great way to finish off the stay. A perfect location for a girls' night out; we will definitely be back! Thank you
