The Palace Hotel

Beautiful old hotel. Huge hotel with loads of character. Confusing design layout and signage. Food very nice. Fantastic location. Bedroom was stunning, old style, huge comfortable bed.

The rooms are nicely appointed but my room was on the lower ground floor with no view or natural light. I asked to change and they said there were no rooms available. A colleague who checked in after me was also put on the ground floor yet somehow they managed to move her. I won’t be booking again.

Visited for my Husbands Birthday and a show at the Theatre. What a beautiful Hotel. Room was lovely and comfortable and amenities first class. Staff are very helpful and are a credit to you. We were only there for one night, wish it had been longer. Thank you for a fantastic stay
