HOLIDAY INN HAYDOCK M6, JCT.23

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Haydock with my family on route to our holiday in Northumberland. Location - Excellent Parking - Very Good Checkin - Excellent (Neve at Reception was extremely helpful) Room Cleanliness - Good Value for Money - Very Good Amenities (Bar/Restaurant) - Very Good *Bonus is that they allow dogs to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We stay here once a year to visit family nearby. It’s convenient for the motorway and a few minutes drive to them. We stayed in an executive room 437. It was at the back overlooking the car park. We ask for a quiet room. It’s what you would expect. The rooms are clean. The bathroom had a walkin shower. Second set of towels in the wardrobe. It was let down again by the housekeeping. Towels were changed and it was clean but the wine glasses and bottle from room service as we arrived late the night before weren’t cleared.

Great location for the racecourse, it’s right next door. You have to put your car registration number in at reception in order not to be charged. Lady on reception was lovely and very helpful when I checked in. I was able to leave my case as I arrived very early which was helpful. The room was clean and well equipped though the bed was really firm which was a tad uncomfortable for me personally. The bathroom was very clean and toilet right and towels provided. Room service was reasonably priced and everything fresh and well presented. Check out was 11.00.
