Crowne Plaza John Lennon Airport

We flew on holiday from John Lennon airport and this hotel was situated close enough for a short taxi ride to the airport. Plenty of parking spaces available in the huge carpark. There are quite a few old preserved aircraft dotted around the car park which was a good way of passing a good few minutes wandering around them. Very well appointed room, and en suite bathroom If we ever fly from Liverpool airport again will certainly consider the Crowne Plaza

I only stayed one night, the room was clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok lots to choose from, cooked, continental, amd pastries cereals teas coffees fruit juice. There air con still not working but fans were in all rooms and you can have more if you wants. The building is full of history and has been modinised but kept intune to its era which was lovely to see as its art deco. The planes in the car park directly outside the dinning area are lovely and you can go walk around them and I was told by hotel staff on Saturdays you can go in some. Overall i have enjoyed my short stay and the staff are lovely and helpful.

Nice building, staff are great but it is need of an overhaul. No aircon rooms 25c+ overnight. No espresso based coffee at breakfast. Tired decor, worn out carpet.
