Crowne Plaza Liverpool

Check was quick and the lovely lady gave us great information about the hotel bed rooms were very big the beds were lovely and comfortable room was spotless and well kept we used the swimming pool which was great for the kids the breakfast amazing lots to choose from and very clean staff worked hard now the bad thing the bar service let the hotel we sat down and tryed to order food we were told no table service which we found strange had to order at the bar the kids ordered margarita pizza and got pepperoni pizza said we ordered margarita I'll check the order and said OK I'll order margarita no apology we kept the two pepperoni because the kids were hungry on Saturday we ordered the BLT one on white bread and the other on a wrap and came out on brown bread told them we ordered it on a wrap we got I need to see the order again no apologies we kept it because we were waiting a long time there was only one member of staff over the three nights we were there one member of the bars staff was amazing great customer service always smiles and had a little chat with us the young ladys name was penny she was great at her job would I return to this hotel yes why apart from the bar service it's amazing hotel

The hotel is in a good location, right beside the Liver Building, with the bonus of guaranteed parking (payable). It was also interesting to see the cruise ships coming and going right beside the hotel. The staff were genuine, friendly and helpful. Lounge access was a bonus and we enjoyed drinks and canapes. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped and quiet at night. The private lounge was also invaluable when there was a large wedding party as they took over the main bar and lounge area.

Very clean and well kept up. Staff very friendly and in a wonderful location overlooking the port and near the city. Major benefit is the hotel on site parking which almost no other hotel has in Liverpool. Only negative is that you have to pay £20 to park in it even as a resident at the hotel - I think this is the only negative I would give but a bit poor if you’re staying there.
