Nice hotel very good location Multi storey car park just over the road. Asked for early check in as we were attending a lunchtime birthday event in town. Not able to offer early check in had to get changed in toilets, very disappointing surely you can get 2 rooms ready before 13:00 hours POOR !!!

Wow. What a lovely hotel. The location is just right away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to all the areas you need to see. The hotel staff are amazing and cant do enough for you, very polite and helpful. The room was amazing, very large size and we got upgraded as it was our anniversary and we also got a late checkout thrown in which was lovely of them. They also left a cake and a hand written happy anniversary on a plate for us. It would have been lovely but I think as we checked in late it had been out a while and was a litte hard. There was tea, coffee, and of course the cookies. There were hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner and body lotion in the massive bathroom. The breakfast was a mix of cereals, hot English breakfast and fruits and pastries with a selection of drinks The bad points And these can be easily fixed and some were but it's the finer details. One of the taps was badly leaking of which we told staff and it was fixed immediately. The tiling grouting and siliconing could have been so much better in areas, and the bath panel was a little worse for wear. All in all a lovely hotel and we would stay here again

I attended a wedding yesterday (1st August) and I had pre ordered a vegetarian meal; this had been confirmed to me by the man who seemed to be in charge of sorting meals for tables out multiple times from his sheet. Starter was all vegetarian so there was no issue and then as soon as it came to the mains he pointed out to not give me the meat meal and to send over the risotto. My whole table had their meals and I told them to start eating, it took 40 minutes for my meal to come out. My whole table had finished their meals and multiple other tables were being cleared and people were getting up and moving about. We asked 3 different people where the meal was and they just advised “we’ll check” and no one ever came over to say what the issue was. My meal then came after 40 minutes and it was tomato pasta and not mushroom risotto as advised. When the man brought it over he said “it’s because we weren’t aware you were a vegetarian” yet it had been confirmed multiple times prior. He was then quite rude and dismissive about the situation and there was no actual apology for it. Considering the price paid for these packages, it was very disappointing and the service was very rude throughout the wedding. We went downstairs to the bar for coffee and cokes (when the wedding bar ran out at 9pm) and they were lovely and so polite.
