Jurys Inn

This is our 4th visit to this hotel and I have to say that I agree with previous reviews regarding service. We chose this one again as was the hotel we stayed in 10 years ago when we got engaged. Paid for a suite as wanted a panoramic view. Came for my birthday and have to say reception staff need training on welcoming guests. Upon check in, literally got given key card, told time of breakfast, floor we needed then moved along. No greeting how are you, enjoy your stay which goes along way. Personal touches matter! As had the suite got a free drink voucher, went for a drink to start my celebrations, no rose house wine or spirits I drink. How can you not offer rosě! No atmosphere and just felt like a flat hotel from previous stays. Still the same black stain on carpet from years ago. No that doesnt affect your stay but shows the hotel never gets refurbished or has maintenance checks. Room was boiling, not sure if air con worked but didnt affect us as wasnt in room that much. Warm greeting from lady in restaurant, breakfast ok but nothing amazing felt like a school canteen. Beds really comfortable as were our pillows had a decent sleep. Location great if want the docks, plenty of bars across the road. No reasons for not returning again but it's not the hotel we remember and loved.

Found the hotel to be in great location, walking distance to most amenities, Staff were nice, rooms were clean and adequate, price was very reasonable for twin room! We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back again, Ann , Sligo Ireland

A little bit worried about what to expect having read some negative reviews but the two night stay we had was fabulous from the moment we checked in to leaving lady at check in (lady with red hair wished i had taken her name ) was brilliant so helpful the room was great with a great view excellent breakfast all the staff we encounterd were lovely brilliant location top marks will definitely return
