Park Hotel

No problems with the hotel, pleasant helpful staff, clean rooms, good food and ideally situated for Liverpool, Aintree, Southport. Will stay again without hesitation. Aintree station is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. Beware the bar closes 10.30pm prompt. My only gripe is that 3 weeks after my stay my £50 room fee has still not been refunded. I have spoken to staff members on two occasions who promised to get back to me---I am still waiting!!! The hotel has let itself down with this ineffeciency. Had it not been for this issue 5 stars I would have given 5 stars.

We attended my sister's wedding party at The Park hotel back in July. It was absolutely magical. We were greeted warmly and were able to access the Bridal suite early to start our hair and make-up. Nothing was too much trouble, Gemma and the team were amazing throughout our whole experience. We even dropped our cakes off before the day, so that we weren't worrying. The night was amazing, guests had pre drinks in the bar before moving to the main room, the shot table rather than a drink on arrival meant everyone was ready for the party to start. The room was decorated beautifully with plenty of space to mingle, drink and dance. The outside terrace was needed on such a warm evening. We had a band on the night, who were able to access the venue and set up without us having to worry. My sister's dress had a slight malfunction just as we were going into the main room, the staff quickly sourced some cotton and thread so that we could join the party as quick as possible. Food was gorgeous, particularly the Scouse. We loved the evening snack of bacon and chip barms. Staff were incredible, always smiling and couldn't do enough for us. We also stayed over night, beds were very comfortable, spacious rooms and very clean. The Bridal suite had also had a quick tidy up from house keeping while we were partying, lovely touch. Morning breakfast was great, good variety for kids and adults. We would definitely recommend having your party or wedding at The Park hotel, you'll definitely be in safe hands with Gemma and the team.

We stayed here on two occasions in July before and after a Cruise. It's in a great location for travelling to Liverpool Docks and Cruise Terminal. We also used it to visit our daughter who lives in Bootle. Chosen as a better hotel than the nearby Premier Inn - beats it on price, service, location and breakfast. We will return. PS like others we don't understand the £50 deposit. Should be removed. Traffic on main road didn't bother us.
