We arrived expecting the hotel in the photos to find it was being re-roofed and looked closed. Scaffolding, rubbish and insulation everywhere. Honestly thought we weren't going to be able to stay. There was no warning of this at all. No facilities available, only a back door entrance to the room.
We had requested an accessible room and being promised this. We were told on arrival that the upstairs room was identical and when I pointed out that it was upstairs, the response was 'you're not in a wheelchair'.
I have contacted the owner for comment and received a very rude response.
So very disappointing.
