Rosie was amazing and Oh Em Gee best Mac and cheese ever! And the spritz flight was amazeballs!! Definitely recommend! Hubby said best Old Fashioned he's had in Scotland!

I have to say we were disappointed with our stay here. Found our room to be dark & basic, with no real luxury feel. The bathroom had a shower over the bath which was difficult to get in to as the shower screen didnt open, & our luxury toiletries as advertised was a bottle of refillable shower gel that was broken and fell off the wall. Our TV didnt work and both the corridor and room smelled strongly of smoke, which as non smokers we didnt like. The price of the mini bar was extortionate in that we chose to attend a local shop for something to drink. We attended at breakfast in the morning to be disappointed again when the coffee machine wasnt working, the only alternative an instant coffee. I ordered a full breakfast which arrived without mushrooms, when questioned the waitress just said there are none left. Whilst the location of this hotel is great we wouldnt return.

We love this place for their cocktails. Margaritas are especially good. You can see them making them also which is an added bonus. Staff are always friendly which makes a difference. Very clean.
